Joe is a 56 year young Scott Township native, now residing in McDonald. He is a father of six (Matt, Mitch, Paul, Kacie, Chase, and Chad), a Steamfitter for local 449, and a 1976 Chartiers Valley graduate. Unfortunately, after months of not feeling well, Joe was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. Even with the terrible prognosis, Joe remains extremely upbeat and he is determined to fight and enjoy each day. Joe is unable to work while undergoing chemotherapy and ongoing treatment.

For those of you that have had the pleasure to get to know Joe over the years, you know that he is one of a kind. He is hard working, generous and kind hearted with a great sense of humor. He is a special person with an upbeat attitude and incredible spirit. Joe has a great deal of friends and family supporting him, but he needs our help now more than ever. The cost of ongoing treatment is going to be a tremendous financial burden for Joe and his family, so any financial donation is greatly appreciated.

*All money raised will help the family with medical bills and expenses.*
